Implementation
Purpose:
We wanted the following:
- Improve patient care
- Improve services as such
- Improve the execution of such services
- To improve controls on such services
What kind of system are looking for:
- We have a basic system of billing but we know we need a system that integrates medical history, Image, Laboratory, Emergency, Insurance, Images, pharmacy, accommodation of patient services
- To get results in real time, the system should be able to emulate and optimize manual operations in real time, most systems have a high input costs that do not go by the size of our operation. With the HMS we got Vertikal Systems it is essential for us the exceptional quality and service with an accessible entrance value according to our operation, and high scalability that made it an excellent choice.
Technical
The implementation consists in:
- a central server with MySQL database
- 7 workstations running Hospital Manager
By the very nature of our operations it was necessary to rearrange some internal procedures , so we started the optimize the system for some procedures.
Multiple tweaks were set to comply with our legislation and specific modus operandi.
What is the customer saying
"By own technical difficulties we are still implementing , we are moving forward and we know that in the end the effort will be well rewarded.
Our goal is to register the patient history when the patient enters the hospital, and then record the evolution, clinical services and materials administered, but no less important to have a dynamic database with all integrated clinical history and achieve future track of the status of our patients."
